IOCL Apprentice Recruitment 2026: Online Applications Open for 394 Posts, Apply Till 10 February

IOCL has presented a big employment opportunity for the youth. Through IOCL Apprentice Recruitment 2026, a total of 394 posts will be filled, providing job opportunities to many candidates. The online application process started on 28 January 2026, and the last date to apply is 10 February 2026. Region- and State-wise Vacancy Details

Under IOCL Apprentice Recruitment 2026, vacancies have been released across different regions of the country.

  • Eastern Region Pipelines (ERPL):
    A total of 101 posts are available for Assam, Bihar, Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh, and West Bengal.

  • Western Region Pipelines (WRPL):
    136 posts are vacant for Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Rajasthan.

  • Northern Region Pipelines (NRPL):
    54 posts are available in Delhi, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, and Uttarakhand.

  • Southern Region Pipelines (SRPL):
    40 posts have been allocated for Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, and Tamil Nadu.

  • South Eastern Region Pipelines (SERPL):
    63 posts are available for Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Odisha, and Telangana.

In total, 394 apprentice posts will be filled through this recruitment.

Trade-wise Educational Qualification

The eligibility criteria vary according to the trade.

  • For Technician Apprentice (Mechanical), candidates must have a 3-year full-time diploma in mechanical or automobile engineering.
  • For Technician Apprentice (Electrical), a diploma in electrical or electrical & electronics engineering is required.
  • For Technician Apprentice (Telecommunication & Instrumentation), candidates must hold a diploma in electronics, instrumentation, or communication-related fields.
  • For the Trade Apprentice (Assistant – Human Resource), graduation from a recognised university is mandatory.
  • For the Trade Apprentice (Accountant), candidates must have a graduation degree in commerce.
  • For Data Entry Operator posts, candidates who have passed 12th class are eligible to apply.

Additional Eligibility Conditions

Candidates whose final results are not yet declared are not eligible to apply. Diploma and graduation degrees must be obtained through regular full-time courses, with a minimum of 50% marks. Candidates who have studied through part-time, distance, or correspondence courses will not be considered eligible.

The minimum age limit is 18 years, and the maximum age limit is 24 years.


Stipend and Apprenticeship Details

Selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend during the apprenticeship period, as per the Apprentices Act and Apprenticeship Rules. The apprenticeship duration will be 12 months, during which no additional allowances or benefits will be provided.


Selection Process

The selection process is very simple. Candidates will be selected based on their registration on the NAPS/NATS portal and their academic marks. There will be no written examination or interview. A merit list will be prepared based on marks, and shortlisted candidates will be selected accordingly.
